Wildlife Talk: What to look for in winter and spring, with David Hirst

Please note this talk has been re-arranged from 28th January, to 25th of February.

Local art and wildlife expert David Hirst explores the beauty of the natural world in winter and spring.

‘What to look for in..’ books were first published in the 1960s by Penguin books. There were 3 books in the series:

What to Look For in Summer
What to Look For in Autumn
What to Look For in Winter

The books combined delightful illustrations with lyrical text describing what could be found in nature during certain times in the year. These books inspired in David his passions for art and wildlife, and inspired the content of this talk he has prepared for the Old Low Light Heritage Centre.
