The Old Low Light Heritage Centre on North Shields Fish Quay is recruiting more volunteers.

 A local historian with strong ties to North Shields will share her research about the rise, fall and renaissance of Dockwray Square during a talk at the fish quay heritage centre later this month.

The Old Low Light's 'Things Seen' exhibition received a visit from a Crown official this week.

The involvement of volunteers at the Old Low Light Heritage Centre has never been more important than it is today.

Find out more about the project, and how it might affect you, at the drop-in session. There will be representatives there from Nexus, the works contractor Taziker and North Tyneside Council to answer any questions you have.

‘Things Seen’ is the title of an exhibition by a local artist which will open at the Old Low Light Heritage Centre, North Shields Fish Quay on Wednesday 1 June 2022.

It will include more than 100 paintings and drawings celebrating details and places that the artist, Linda Kay, sees around her.
