A concert by world class musicians – violinist Bradley Creswick, accompanied by pianist David Murray – is to take place at the Old Low Light Heritage Centre on North Shields Fish Quay in December.

The Old Low Light has 9 dedicated trustees, who bring a wide range of skills and experience to the charity. All of them do it as volunteers.

The Old Low Light Heritage Centre on North Shields Fish Quay has joined a network of venues across the borough to offer a warm welcome space to local people over the coming months.

Every Friday, from 10am to 3pm, people can pop into the heritage centre for a free cuppa and a chat.

We are so proud that our wonderful volunteers have been recognised for their contribution in helping to make North Tyneside a thriving borough.

We’re pleased to announce that we’re planning a new programme of chamber music concerts.

However, we’re mindful that while some people sought refunds for chamber music concerts that had to be cancelled in 2020, due to the pandemic, a number has not.

The support we receive from members is much appreciated as it helps us to stay afloat and remain open as a valuable community venue. Such support has never been more important than now, when like many other organisations we are facing our greatest challenges, following the pandemic and more recently the increases in fuel and cost of living, all of which are impacting on us.
