Fish Quay Heritage Centre receives lifeline from Government’s £1.57bn Culture Recovery Fund
North Shield’s Old Low Light Heritage Centre is one of almost 450 heritage organisations in England to receive a lifeline grant from the first round of the Culture Recovery Fund for Heritage.
We’d hoped to re-open for seven days a week but we’ve now decided a phased approach would be better, allowing us to test out new ways of working against staff and volunteer rotas and also financial viability. This means when we do return to everyday opening, we can be confident that it will be sustainable.
The Old Low Light Heritage Centre on North Shields Fish Quay is saying a big thank-you to people who gave their immediate support to a crowd funding appeal.
