Heritage Gallery Exhibition: The Human Cost of Fishing.

The UK’s fishing fleet employs around 12,000 at the start of 2018.

That is 12,000 son’s, daughters, mothers and fathers braving the treacherous conditions of life at sea to bring the catch and boat in.

By focusing on 12 trawler tragedies from the recent past retired fishermen, Brian Chambers, will explore ‘The Human Cost’ of fishing and the impact of tragedy on families left behind.

The exhibition will run in the Old Low Light’s Heritage Gallery from 1st February 2018 through to 25th March 2015.
