Attention! – New recruits needed for Clifford’s Fort

Blyth Battery Living History Group take over the running of Clifford’s Fort between 11:00 – 3:00 on 12 April to put small fry recruits through their paces.

Image result for bbc wwi kids Come and experience what life was like for new recruits in a home front training camp 100 years ago.  In the afternoon privates can make their own piece of trench art to take away with them and learn all about a local North Shields’ solider and his artwork.

Normal admission charges apply £2 adults and £1 donation per child to cover the cost of materials.
