Join us as we celebrate the opening of our new heritage exhibition ‘Sub-marine; The Great Leviathan’ with historian Tony Barrow as he explores the River Tyne’s Whaling heritage. Tony’s entertaining and informative talk will provide a fascinating insight into river’s whaling trade and its historical context.

The talk will be introduced by artist Stephen Livingstone who will also give a context to the inspiration to his latest exhibition.
