Discover the lengths some birdwatchers will go to in order to get a new bird on their list.

Join us on Saturday 16 September at 11:00 to discover what lengths and costs some bird watchers will go to in their pursuit of wild and rare birds.

Audrey Verma from Newcastle University, a keen bird watcher herself, will be talking about the ethics around birding, thinking through issues such as intrusive photography and ‘twitcher madness’. Audrey will be discussing the potential negative impacts of these and other birding-related practices on the birds, their environments, and on the community.

Normal admission charges apply; £2 per adult, Network Members and under 16’s free
