Local writer recounts tales of North Shields’ Commercial Fishermen

Local writer, poet and playwrite Peter Mortimer will be entertaining an audience with a fascinating and humorous talk about the time he spent at sea with North Shields’ commercial fishermen. Peter will be reading from his book ‘The Last Of The Hunters’ as well as evoking an extraordinary life at sea on a small fishing boat.
This will be an evening not to be missed. Peter will be signing copies of his book ‘The Last Of the Hunters’ on the evening. Doors open at 6.30, licensed bar. Admission £3.50 per person.
