Popular shipwreck and survivors guided walk exploring the coast’s Black Midden rocks.

Join retired RNLI coxswain Martin Kenny for a fabulous informative and entertaining guided walk from Old Low Light along to the Black Middens and discover the stories behind some of the coasts famous shipwrecks and the role of the courageous RNLI volunteers.

Meet Martin at 11:00 at Old Low Light Heritage Centre for a 11:15 departure.   The walk lasts around two hours and will include a visit to RNLI Lifeboat station.

After your walk, visit our cafe for a delicious cup of our special artisan blend of Tynemouth Coffee before visiting our summer exhibitions ‘It Started With A Fish’ and ‘Tales From The Happy Hunting Ground.’
